Building the analytical decision layer for football — calculators, predictions, AI assistant, bet tracker.
Current status:KiqIQ is a small team (founder + contractors) and we don't have any open roles right now. We're sharing this page so you know what we care about, what we're building, and how to reach us if you're interested in future opportunities.
What we're building
KiqIQ is a football intelligence platform for bettors and fantasy managers: 28 calculators, 90+ strategy guides, 24+ league/tournament hubs, AI chat, bet tracker with CLV, daily value-bet feed, trap-game flags, and live in-play data via TheStatsAPI (with API-Football as a cross-provider fallback for standings and head-to-head). We compete on transparency and analytical rigour, not tipster claims or affiliate spam.
What we value
- Probabilistic thinking — we treat every prediction as a distribution, not a certainty. Every output is questionable, reproducible, and falsifiable.
- Transparency over hype— our methodology is public. Limitations are documented. We don't claim wins we can't back up with data.
- Honest framing— when comparing to competitors, we acknowledge their strengths. We're not the best at everything.
- Bias toward action — small team, fast iteration, ship things people can actually use. No 6-month strategy decks.
- Long-term thinking — sustainable subscription model, no betting affiliate links, no "guaranteed winners" tipster grift.
- Football love— we're football fans first. Analytics is the lens we use, not the entire interest.
Roles we'd hire for (when ready)
We're not hiring right now. When we do, the most likely first hires are:
- Senior full-stack engineer (TypeScript, Next.js, Postgres, AI integrations). Owns backend architecture as the platform scales.
- Quant / data scientist (Python, Poisson modelling, xG / xA / xT statistics). Owns the prediction engine.
- Football analyst / content lead (deep football knowledge + ability to write clearly about probability and tactics). Owns content quality.
- Growth / SEO marketer (content distribution, technical SEO, organic acquisition). Owns top-of-funnel.

Working philosophy
When we do hire, we expect to be remote-first across UK / EU time zones, contractor or full-time depending on role and runway, with documented decisions, transparent metrics, and a strong bias toward shipping over meeting. No surveillance tools, no "butts in seats" culture.
