1. What KiqIQ is — and is not
KiqIQ is a football intelligence and statistical analysis platform. We do not accept wagers, facilitate gambling transactions, operate as a sportsbook, custody user funds, or guarantee outcomes. All predictive outputs are probabilistic estimates intended for informational and entertainment purposes only.
KiqIQ does not provide gambling services, betting accounts, financial advice, or licensed wagering services in any jurisdiction. Users are solely responsible for their personal decisions, betting activity, and compliance with local laws.
2. 18+ access requirement
Users must be at least 18 years old to access KiqIQ's betting-adjacent features:
- /value-bets — model–market divergence feed
- /trap-games — heavy-favourite caution surface
- /predictions — probabilistic match analysis
- Betting-flavoured prompts in our AI assistant
- Pro Scout newsletter content (paid plan)
Football editorial content — blog, glossary, guides, calculators, fantasy hub — is open to all ages.
We use active age-gating: betting-adjacent surfaces are server-side restricted, not just visually hidden, and betting-flavoured emails are suppressed for users without confirmed 18+ status.
3. Recognising gambling harm
Gambling becomes harmful when it stops being entertainment. Signs to watch for in yourself or someone close to you:
- Spending more than planned, or chasing losses to recover them
- Borrowing money to bet, or using money set aside for bills, rent, or food
- Hiding betting activity from family, partners, or friends
- Feeling distressed, anxious, or unable to stop when trying to cut back
- Betting to escape problems or relieve negative emotions
- Lying about how much time or money is spent on betting
If any of these resonate, please reach out to one of the support services listed at the top of this page. Help is free and confidential.
4. AI assistant — distress detection
Our AI assistant at /ask is built to recognise distress signals: desperate language, references to debt or rent, loss-chasing framing, self-harm language. When triggered, the AI:
- stops betting-related guidance immediately
- acknowledges the difficulty without making clinical claims
- surfaces locale-appropriate support resources (BeGambleAware, GamCare, GamStop, Samaritans for self-harm)
- does not return betting picks, EV estimates, or stake recommendations in that conversation
The AI never tells users what to bet, never recommends stake sizes, never frames model output as a guarantee. See our AI Disclosure Policy for full detail.
5. Self-exclusion and account restrictions
You can step away from KiqIQ in several ways:
- Pause betting features: email support@kiqiq.com with the subject “Restrict betting features.” We will hide /value-bets, /trap-games, /predictions, and betting-flavoured AI prompts from your account.
- Unsubscribe from betting-flavoured emails: use the unsubscribe link in any KiqIQ email, or email support directly. Editorial newsletters can remain active.
- Delete your account: visit Privacy Policy for the data-deletion process. Your account and associated data are removed within 30 days.
- Use GamStop (UK): gamstop.co.uk is the UK's national self-exclusion scheme covering all UK-licensed gambling operators. KiqIQ is not a gambling operator and is not part of GamStop, but we honour GamStop registrations: contact us with your registration confirmation and we will restrict your account accordingly.
6. Setting personal limits
KiqIQ does not place bets, hold funds, or set deposit limits — that is the responsibility of the bookmakers you use. Healthy practice for anyone who chooses to bet:
- Decide a budget you can afford to lose before betting; treat it as the entertainment cost
- Set time limits as well as money limits
- Take regular breaks; avoid betting when emotional, tired, or under the influence
- Never borrow money to bet; never use rent, bills, or food money
- Never chase losses — the next bet is statistically independent of the last
- Use the deposit-limit, time-out, and self-exclusion tools your bookmaker provides

We honour unsubscribe requests immediately and document consent timestamps for every email subscription.

9. Updates
We review this policy quarterly. Material changes — new resources, expanded regions, updated procedures — are versioned at the top of this page and entered in our internal compliance log. The most recent version is always the live one.
