1. KiqIQ's regulatory position

KiqIQ provides:

• Free betting calculators (Poisson, Kelly, EV, Asian Handicap, etc.) — informational tools
• Educational guides on betting markets and football statistics
• An AI assistant that answers football and betting questions in plain English
• A bet tracker for users to log and analyse their own betting activity
• Comparison content (vs/* pages) describing how KiqIQ relates to other football data platforms

KiqIQ does not:

• Accept or settle bets
• Hold customer funds
• Operate as a tipster or sell betting tips
• Offer a bookmaker or betting exchange
• Aggregate live bookmaker odds in unrestricted jurisdictions (gated by middleware in jurisdictions where licensing is required)

In most jurisdictions, this position keeps KiqIQ outside the licensing requirements applied to bookmakers and exchanges. Where any feature touches a regulated boundary (notably value-bet feeds and odds aggregation), KiqIQ obtains legal review and where required, jurisdiction-specific licensing or geo-blocking.

2. Age verification (18+ minimum, higher in some regions)

KiqIQ is intended for users aged 18 and over. Some jurisdictions require higher minimum ages for gambling-adjacent content (21+ in some US states; 19+ in some Canadian provinces; 20+ in Japan and parts of Asia). Users are responsible for confirming they meet the minimum age in their jurisdiction. KiqIQ may require age verification before enabling betting-related features.

3. Availability by region

The table below summarises KiqIQ availability by region. Geo-IP gating is implemented at the middleware layer based on detected IP location. Users in restricted regions see a notice on gated features and are not served content beyond the educational layer.

4. Geo-IP gating

For features subject to jurisdictional restriction (notably the value-bet feed and odds aggregation), KiqIQ uses IP-based geographic detection at the application middleware layer. Users in restricted jurisdictions are redirected to a notice page explaining the restriction and are not served the regulated feature.

VPN circumvention is forbidden under our Terms of Service. KiqIQ may detect and restrict accounts using VPNs to access geo-blocked features.
