KiqIQ uses a Poisson distribution over expected goals (xG) as the core probability engine. Given home and away xG inputs, the model computes scoreline probabilities and aggregates them into 1X2, BTTS, Over/Under, and Asian Handicap probabilities. Tournament-mode and venue-specific adjustments are applied where relevant.

KiqIQ's model produces probabilities, not predictions. A 60% home win probability is correct on average if 60 of every 100 such fixtures end in home wins — the other 40 are not failures, they are the model working as designed. Long-term accuracy is measured against bookmaker close (CLV); per-market Brier scores and calibration curves are published once a market accumulates ≥100 logged predictions (see /methodology §8).

Poisson is transparent and reproducible. Every output traces back to documented xG inputs and a home advantage multiplier. Black-box ML models can fit historical data well but are difficult to question and prone to overfitting. KiqIQ favours interpretability over marginal accuracy gains.

KiqIQ uses public xG data from FBref, Understat, and other sources that ultimately derive from Opta or StatsBomb event-data tagging. KiqIQ does not produce its own event data. Live in-play xG via API-Football activates once an `API_FOOTBALL_KEY` is configured.

No. KiqIQ is explicit about probabilistic outcomes — every prediction is framed as a probability with stated assumptions and limitations. Anyone who promises guaranteed winners in football betting is either misleading you or has fundamentally misunderstood probability.

The AI assistant answers football and betting questions in plain English. It can explain xG, walk through Kelly staking, analyse a match using KiqIQ's framework, suggest follow-up questions, and surface relevant guides or calculators. It does not produce specific betting tips or guarantee outcomes.

Free tier: 3 lifetime queries to try. Starting XI (€9.99/month): 100 queries per month. Pro Scout (€19.99/month): 350 queries per month. Paid limits reset on monthly subscription renewal.

KiqIQ uses OpenAI as its inference provider with custom system prompts and retrieval-grounded context. The AI does not present itself as ChatGPT or any specific underlying model — it presents as KiqIQ. OpenAI processes prompts under a zero-data-retention contract: prompts are not used for model training.

Yes. AI prompts and responses are stored against your account for chat-history reload (paid plans) and are deletable on request. Prompts are not used to train models, are not shared with third parties, and are encrypted at rest. See the Privacy Policy for full details.

Subscribe from any live match page using the Watch live button, or ask the AI to follow a specific match. Free and Starting XI plans see an upgrade prompt instead.

Most calculators support text-copy and result-sharing. The Formation Builder and similar tools support image and JSON download for offline reference. Bet tracker entries are stored against your account when signed in.

Yes — every calculator is built on standard mathematical formulas (Poisson, Kelly, etc.) that you can verify by hand. We document the formulas alongside the calculator. If you find a calculation error, please email editor@kiqiq.com so we can correct it.

Yes. You can cancel from your account billing portal at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep paid features until then. No long-term contracts, no cancellation fees.

Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable once AI access has been used — every paid query incurs real model and data-feed cost on our side. You can cancel any time from your billing portal: the subscription stops renewing and you keep access until the end of the paid month. Refunds only apply to duplicate charges or billing errors. Yes — VAT and applicable sales taxes are collected automatically by Stripe Tax based on your billing address. EU customers see VAT applied at the correct local rate; non-EU customers may see sales tax depending on jurisdiction.
